Bikesummer, the annual Bicycle love-in, following the traditions of Bikesummer San Francisco 1999 and Chicago 2000, will be held in Vancouver and Victoria, BC this August 2001. It is an International Do-it-Yourself Bike Festival where independent groups organise separate but complimentary events which come together in the Bikesummer Calendar to be a Bicycle Extravaganza!

Promised for this summer are Fun Bike Rides, Campouts, Workshops, Bike Building, Bike Art, Film Nights, Bike Ballet, Zany Competitions, Bicycle Poetry, Demonstrations, Bike Radio and More! We invite all interested parties from anywhere and everywhere to submit and host/help put-on an event; Or, just show up and enjoy the multitude of local bike culture on display.

Also, we need help with publicity for this summer, telling people to come to our city, where we will try to put them up and Wow them with our bicycle festivities. So Please spread the word. The Dinosaurs Against Fossil Fuels invite you especially to come snack on cars and party down with them in this Orgy of Velo Love!
