11 people played hooky on Monday to take advantage of the ride to the Marin Headlands. For a couple of out-of-towners, it was their first trip across the Golden Gate Bridge. Even though we had to dodge pedestrians on the Eastern side of the span, it was still an exhilarating experience. Everyone made it to the top of Hawk Hill and no one flew off the cliff on the ride back down. We even spotted wildlife: a soaring hawk and an unidentified ugly grub. One flat tire was quickly repaired on the trip back to the city, and we made it back to Duboce Park safe and sound. A good time was had by all! Thanks to everyone who came on the ride.
